Captain Norm Acker will meet you at the Rushbrook Harbour dock early at a predetermined time tide dependant.
Quantum Fishing Charters will have everything ready for your trip on the boat and ready to go, with the engines
warmed up and fishing gear tied an, if chosen, Quantum can also have lunch provided by The Ocean Center Diner,
located in Ocean Center Mall, downtown Prince Rupert. You will have a choice from their full East Indian and Western
cuisine. Locally know as always a great lunch. Once we leave Rushbrook Harbour, your party can relax and
enjoy the fast ride out to our fishing grounds. Along the way your guide will explain about the area and
some of the abundant wildlife Prince Rupert and the Chatham Sound shelters. If you are staying at out lodge,
we will then drop off your gear for your stay. Then it’s off to our fishing grounds, for some fast action
Salmon fishing. Arriving at our fishing spot, your guide will give you a quick rundown on the boat, the gear,
the safety equipment and Quantum’s method of catching fish. We will fish a few different spots to limit out on salmon.
Once each person limits out on salmon, your group can either do some whale watching, touring around or halibut fishing,
as your charter is for the full day, Quantum Fishing Charters maximizes your time out on the water. After the day is
over, your guide will retrieve the crab traps set earlier and process your catch at the Rushbrook Harbour Docks. If
your trip ends at The Quantum Lodge, your guide will process your catch at the lodge where you and your party can sit
back at the fire pit, BBQ some of the freshest fish you have ever tasted, and Quantum prepares a beverage of your choice with
your feet up relaxing after a fast paced fishing adventure.
Your fishing charter will include the following:
- 10 hours of guided fishing per full day
- Fully equipped boats including marine heads
- Cleaning, freezing and vacuum packaging of your catch can be arranged
- Appropriate fishing tackle and rain gear
- 5-star meals, snack bar and beverages can be arranged
All the fishing equipment needed will be on board and you will receive fishing instruction from our professional fishing guide. Also included for your convenience is rain gear, boots and lifejackets.
